Megan Smith — US CTO

Previously Megan was an executive at Google – VP Google X and VP Business Development.
Megan is brilliant – Born in 1964 in Buffalo, NY., she graduated from MIT in 1998 with degrees in Mechanical Engineering. She was even a member of the MIT student team that designed, built and raced a solar car 2000 miles across the Australian outback in the first cross-continental solar car race. She’s worked for Apple, General Magic and was CEO of Planet Out before joining Google in 2003. Megan was behind Google’s acquisition of the technologies that became Google Earth, Google Maps and Picasa. She is a passionate advocate for the increased role of women in technology.
